Yes Orb runs very choppy for me too on the n800. This is within my home wireless g network. I have not yet played around with any of the Orb settings to help this. It runs fine on my laptop within the same environment.
-set fixed speed to 5066KB/s on orb host
-video pauses sometimes but i can still hear audio
-within the same network(home network)
-wireless g 802.11g netgear router
