I've just come across a big usability ref the n900 and stylus - if during use you put the stylus behind your ear and then forget you've done so it becomes almost impossible to find. This can lead to a lot of lost time searching your sitting room including pulling the sofa apart, and looking like a complete tool when your better half walks in and you explain what you're doing.

    Just so you know...

Could be. Given Maemo 6 devices will have capacitive screens, it's less likely they'll come with styluses.

Will do - was thinking some kind of bluetooth link between phone and stylus, with a buzzer... or maybe some kind of gps tracking functionality?

The original Nintendo DS came with two styluses, isn't that nice?

When I get a pen stylus (as soon as somebody makes one) I'll hopefully still have my old one as a backup.

I LOL'd. I actually stick mine in my beard. I've lost it there a couple of times. Luckily my wife or kids have pointed it out.

I guess I won't be getting one of those then, unless they come up with better tech. The best things on my device pretty much require stylus, like freeciv and Monkey Island

Have no fear, Nokia is already on it.

One of the things Nokia introduced at CES

Now they just need to do some more miniaturization
