    Hi.

    n900:
When fn Lock is on (i.e for typing numbers on the keyboard) is there a way to type a dot (.) without disengaging the fn lock?

I'm a muppet if I missed this one

    Control plus dot

    EDIT: Only works in terminal

    Ok. (while fn on)
If I hold CRTL, then dot. nothing happens.
If I double click ctrl it works, but disengages Fn lock and opens onscreen characters.

    confused, is it just mine?

I just want to type ip addresses without having to disengage fn for the dot :-(

    CHeers.

I realized Ctrl + (.) only works in the terminal.

Your best option is to edit /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/nokia_vndr/rx-51 file to suit your needs. (e.g. changing period to question and vice versa)

I find easier to shut the keyboard and used the on screen one, because that has both numbers and the dot one the same screen.
