I'll upload it to some file hosting online service so that you can easily download it in the original recording quality.
My opinion? Nothing (or too few things) has been done in improving the quality of recording, there are still lots of frame drops.
Let me know what do you think about it.

EDIT: Here's the link for downloading the original recorded file:

So, what do you think about this "new" quality?

Where did you see any mention of "new" recording quality in the changelog?

Yes indeed. I was a bit to quick with my judgement.
Very strange, my viewty did even better (although on a lower resolution).
    It's a bit dissapointing.

There's no mention of improvements made in recording in the changelog, I was referring to what Dr. Drips had said before my post (less frame drops, while they are still there).

    Changelog states:
    - Less CPU load caused during video recording
    - Lower RAM consumption while capturing video
    - AV sync fix for recorded videos

Not directly referring to the frame rate problem, but it's always good to have hope.

You are so right, everyone here hoped to see better quality (and no more frame drops) with this update

With the latest Maemo software (2.2009.51-1.002), I can still see dripped video frames when recording. Anyone else see this problem?

It has been like this from day one, the firmware updates have not fixed it. I have seen some annoying frame drops as well, would not recommend the phone for decent video atm.
