N900 tutorial how-to videos for beginners - maemo.org

I used to do the Internet Tablet School site which provided how-to videos for the N800 and N810. I've been sponsored by All About Maemo ( http://www.allaboutmaemo.com/ ) to continue these videos for the N900.

These guides are all aimed at beginners, they do not require any technical knowledge. They try to explain how to get things done step-by-step.

By the way, anyone who thought my old vids were too slow should check out the new ones, they're much faster and shorter.

(We'll also be shortly creating a web page index which I'll link to on here when it's ready.)

I also would like to see some advanced stuff demonstrated on a video if you don't mind too..

Maybe basic programming? I tend to learn better when I see things done instead of reading about it..

Erm... if you're thinking of doing programming you're going to have to do a lot of reading anyway.

Well the first post has the link to the YouTube channel, all the vids are there.

Very short and sweet tutorial this one:

You can search contacts directly from the desktop by just typing on the keyboard. You don't even need to have the contacts app open, it opens automatically when you type. Here's the vid...

May I reccomend a video about the mouse mode? It seems to be asked quite frequently here
