I've looked around, read FAQs etc... They say how to get ROMs, but they don't say a word about how to get ROMs for games like Advance Wars or Golden Sun. I'M NOT SAYING THAT I WANT TO PIRATE THEM!

So my questions are, how to get ROMs for different games I own (for instance for the GameBoy) legally. Another question is, is it legal (in FInland) to download ROMs when you own the actual game?

Do not ask here.

It's enough that the emulators are easily available via the repositories, do not come here asking where to get actual game ROMs.

I don't know if downloading is legal if you have the original ROM, but there are backup devices on the market for the different consoles which allow dumping the ROM to a file.

Sorry, you won't get information directly about obtaining ROM files here. But they're not hard to find if you look.

I appreciate you are trying to do this in a legal fashion, but this isn't the place to discuss it. There are plenty of emu-specific fora around.
