Try dropping the conf file into /home/user/MyDocs/irreco/InternalLircDevices and restart the app. Note that raw_coded conf files are not supported. By Irreco anyway.

Hi.

All the images downloaded from themes are visible in the images application from the device. With Irreco and QTIrreco installed, the app is now unusable.

Any ideas? Maybe move the images for buttons to a .folder?

Search did nothing for me.

Nice, got this working with my samsung tv, had problem with commands for remote showing only wait 1, wait 2 etc, deleted the remote file and reinstalled and that solved it.

Hi,
I'm trying to use irreco in my N900 for my NEC PXT-42SV2 but I don't know which remote control it uses coz I lost it long time ago and google search didn't help me either. So, anyone having any idea plz share with me coz having to reach to TV for any controlling is really painful. Thanks.

PS: Also any idea for LG DVD player (DR275) and TEAC digital setup box (HDB840)

So if i get this correctly, ccf files are another format possible and can be found in this database :
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin...al&db=discrete

There is no insignia tv at all there but i found this on my tv's support page:
http://insigniaproducts.com/products...DP50HD-09.html

which gives code 115 for all the Philips remotes... Does it mean there is a "115"-type remote file i could use to convert to lirc/irreco format and finally get something out of that software? :-)

You need to enable extras-devel repository: Here's how if you don't know already:

1. Go to "Application Manager"
2. From the drop down menu select "Application catalogues"
3. Click "New"
4. In Catalogue name: Extras-devel
5. In Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel
6. In Distribution: fremantle
7. In Components: free non-free
8. Leave the "Disabled" check box unchecked (WARNING: It is not advised to use this repository as the applications in this repository are not tested and can SERIOUSLY DAMAGE your device. Hence, do it only if you know what you are doing and at your own risk. So, MAKE SURE TO DISABLE IT after use)

Save it and click outside the wizard box and it will automatically start to update. After update you can see "irreco-for-n900".
Now, you should be able to download it.
