The media player widget issue is still there even after the fix I implemented yesterday

Songs no longer play but they can be skipped through

Looks like DNS problem. Did you even install vpnc? It has a bug and it may prevent finding a right names.

BTW, you may easily check it - connect WiFi, go to X-Term application and ping some host like your mfe host. If it doesn't find this host that definitely you have this kind of problem.

applied your fix (remove and then replace onto desktop) and mine seems to be fine now Athough when removing the media widget off the desktop, it also seemed to take a few other items off too!

Nothing ever goes easy does it?

    LOL it certainly doesnt

Mine was fine last night and decided to stop again today, and I have also noticed a couple of widgets keep disappearing that I have to put back manually

Back up works on my N900. But it can sit at 0% for a while while it collects info. if I remember right this was the same situation in 1.o

    Let me get this straight.
    - You are updating your device and you would like to make backup internally to device to same location where your orginal files are. Okeyyy

It needs extrenal card for backup because without it it would be backup
