Hi,

I have had my N900 for a couple of weeks now and am totally delighted with it.

One feature i use a lot is the FM transmitter. It works a treat in my car (peugeot 407) using 90.8khz (Edinburgh area).

The one thing i wanted was a scrolling song display instead of the 'Nokia' RDS. And 'Hey Presto!' Along comes the firmware update and i have one.

...onlt i'm no happy with that either It flicks around 8 characters at a time.

Is there any way to get it to scroll smoothly, one character at a time?

RDS Notify is your friend.

appears to be in extras dev just now tho and i don't consider myself qualified to use those apps - and if i did and fecked up my phone i'd only get abuse when i asked how to fix it!

good to know it exists tho! hope if gets into extra's soon.
