Tweakr bricked my phone (boot loop) and so I used maemo flasher to flash the device back to 42.1. Now the device won't recognise my SIM (Vodafone) and NSU says it's unsupported!?

Help?

This is due to the 51 firmware updating the phone chipset firmware. This is then not compatible with previous firmware versions, so you can't see the SIM or access any of the phone functionality. You'll need to either use flasher to reflash to 51 or use WLAN to update OTA.

Firmware is in /lib/firmware

BTW, can you ls -l that directory from PR1.1 - is anything new here?

would have been nice to get a warning. Anyway to reflash the chipset firmware?

There's a few newer files from the look of it. I doubt that just replacing these would fix anything though, as they'd get replaced when reflashing with an older firmware anyway:
