I think if you do i google search don garlets came to the uk in 1976 and lost a race to a ENGLISHMAN anyway don garlIts has done so much for this sport not just racing my mate is racing in the us next month and his main sponswer is ...................................DON GARLITS.

Fine, Nokia doesn't wanna subsidize. Nokia doesn't want to make agreements with retailers for their higher N-series or such. Nokia doesn't sell via the retail avenues here in the US. They don't advertise here either.

believe it. i ran into a few that tried to prove me otherwise until i had to pull out my 9500 communicator.

I remember back in my day (1975-78), once being soundly thumped by an "Englishman" in all places, Englishtown, NJ.

We were doing everything we could to get a 4 cylinder, 200+ horsepower, state of the art motorcycle in to the 9's on a consistent basis.Then came along this fellow named Brian in taped up leathers that they called "Mighty Mouse".

He blew past us into the 8's on a single cylinder, 500 cc Vincent with a freakin' Norton transmission!

We cried into our beers that night and I gave up my dreams of greatness (along with the waistline of a twenty year old) that season.
