I really like the sound of a motor spiinning up when you plug in the charger, Nokia got it right. The other sounds are pretty innocuous and not remarkable. I smile when I plug in the charger though.
The battery icons you guys are doing are more than cosmetic. Nokia goofed on these. They are not informative. Your phone can be in the 30% range and the batt level looks like it's over 50%. So I would say you guys are adding "beautiful' functionality!

The gray background is because of selection to get the screenshot and see the white borders.
Can I make a suggestion for the zips/rars. Place an instruction txt in the rar. Some of them have them. I'm storing these in a dir for when i will be flashing/formatting in the future. I figure I'll play around with everything to see what I really like right now and do a rebuild later.

to change the white sparkle effect when zooming out or closing web pages to a red heart (or you can use your own png files, make them 32x32 pixels)
put the file 'wmWhiteSparkle' into usr/share/themes/alpha/images
(alpha folder= nokia n series theme)
(beta folder= digital nature theme)
or if using any other theme put file in usr/share/themes/???????/images
