    notes: used my minutes, shows up as data call to phone number 777 but no charge on Verizon bill. EVDO speed. the connection seems to drop occasionally due to inactivity and redials though.

    how did you get the LG8300 to connect? I tried for months and was unsuccessful and nobody else on this board seemed to have any success. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    sent you a PM as I don;t know if it's legal to post the directions here. it might require you to do some hacking on the phone and do something that violates Verizon;s Terms of Service.

    Data Plan TMobile web&web sim only £7.50 per month no contract. Shop manager reflashed phone to remove wap setting. GPRS only but useful test to see if 3g phone worthwhile.
