Hi,
I've try to install this app: Easy Debian (Fremantle) v0.9.35-3fremantle1.
All was fine but the 2gb partition was full and i can't recive any e-mail e\o sms. So I have decided to uninstall it.
When I finisched to unistall I'd deleted the big image file from 27gb mmc,but i alredy see 2gb partition full (only 70mb free) and 25gb free on mmc.
I have try to upgrade to new firmware PR1.1 two times, but nothing change.
This is the output of this two command:

cd /home
du -hsx *

16k lost+found
472.4M opt
46.8M user

Any help?
can i format 2gb partition?

Thanks a lot to all...

PS:sorry for my bad English

to format the 2GB partition, follow this guide:
Flashing eMMC

be aware that this WILL delete all the currently stored data, including mails/sms, settings and the MyDocs folder!
it will however solve your problem.

here are a few suggestions to try, there are also several threads on this board with reports and howtos from users. according to some, disconnecting everything else from usb and trying different ports can help.

Easy Debian doesn't need much space, the image is normally not stored in the 2GB-/home/ and whenever you want to flash: you have to reboot the phone when the flasher is waiting for suitable device!

Your problem is something else (maybe too much devel-testing stuff), normally a reboot should free enough space for the N900 to be useable again...

The problem was Easy Debian. Before install it, there was 1,5gb free space, and after 11mb.
Flashing eMMC was the best solution.
Many thanks
