sounds like we have to wait for a FW bug fix to fix the FW upgrade.

Hi
This seems to be an issue with the UPNP /DLNA I have a similar prob where video plays first frame and freezes but sound is coming thru. I works fine playing locally. Bug8043 if anyone is interested. And I believe its fixed for the next release.

Here the same. Tracker process did not solve the problem. There is something wrong in the new firmware.

Yes, tracker did not resolve the issue - but it did start a lengthy
process on retrieving media information...

Also -- I tried playing files locally that do not play over uPnP and I get
the same result - i.e. yellow bar with codec not supported message.

I managed to uninstall and re-install Decoders support 0.3 but that
did not change anything.

I just hope this is just a bug that can be fixed, especially given how everything worked wonderfully in previous firmware with additional
decoders support.

Well, that is the life, of the beta tester...The battery drain really seem to be slower with the new FW though. Although I totally did not care about it.

Thanks, I quickly scanned through the Bug 8254, I am glad to see
it getting attention, as I am quite interested in fixing this.

I also want to point out that at no point any WMV files worked (same
for MOV), but since I do not encode or produce those myself, I cared less.

Make sure you vote and point people with the same problem to vote as well - it's the votes that push things higher on the list, forums (the goggles!) do nothing.

Second that, in case you expierence the same problem it really makes sense to vote. As of now there are only 4 votes.

Yarp it's fixed now after the codec support update. At least for me and my media files. Thanks!
