so I can download MADDE for windows and compile it to work on n900? do i need to download any aditional packages for it to work?

I've downloaded Qt for windows. Does any one know where do I find a Qt guide to compile and export to my phone?

I'm also trying to learn to develop using the SDK.
I have tried compiling some command line applications using the SDK (gnuplot, octave, aspell), but then I don't know how to create packages (.deb) to install in the N900.
I have tried copying the binaries created over to the N900, but they fail to run because of missing linked libraries and what not.
Can someone point me to documentation to learn how to package stuff? Thanks.
