I loved the old white glossy "shell" icon. What devil led these guys to change it for that ugly, old-fashioned, cobol-mainframe-3270-looking, green, rough-edged icon? I feel like it dirties my nice looking n900 desktop I just hope new updates change this.

I might do that if I get time. But what's going to happen the next time I update? I dont want to have to keep tweaking every time I update my software. I just hope the guys make a better choice for future updates.

I actualy made it ages ago for s60, it was an icon for ROM patcher.

come on guys, it's just an icon, and anybody can change it if he/she doesn't like it, there is no simple way to satisfy everybody. i personally feel that opening a bug reports about such things is equivalent to spamming the bugzilla. it's located here /usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/hildon/tasklaunch_xterm.png or if you optified /home/opt/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/hildon/tasklaunch_xterm.png

Oh man. So it seems we're gonna have to live with it. The "bug" was resolved as a WONTFIX. That sucks.
