Precisely. Browser gets it wrong, HAM gets it wrong, but apparently apt-get gets it right.

It stands to reason that since HAM fails, it's wrong. It also stands to reason that apt-get gets it right, so I'm guessing that something HAM does trigger the bug.

Beyond this point, I simply speculated that HAM adds something or removes something from the request that breaks the server. Furthermore, since it's not identical, it's safe to assume HAM is not a front end for apt-get, but simply uses apt libraries and has its own GET method.

It's also possible that though different both HAM and apt-get issue valid if different requests but the US server cored/is bad/does localized processing if it's unique.
It's just a static file, nothing more. And it's exactly what you see with browser. It's about application signing which HAM cares about and apt-get doesn't

Thank you, but it would be very good to understand how /var/lib/apt/lists/...something... has a list of yesterday applications but HAM doesn't receive it a couple of days (periodic error on server?)

BTW, just double check - does it mean that HAM doesn't use /var/lib/apt/lists until it gets a right answer? In this case - why HAM doesn't get it but apt-get receives?

Then why does mine work? Update runs, no errors, apps how up, I installed from devel like 1 hour ago.

You are not censored by this signature because you are in Europe

Did you by any chance employ the repository relocation trick?
This:
apt-get -o dir::cache=/home/user/MyDocs/apt-archive-cache dist-upgrade

from here
It was also in the forums. That could give you dual caches.

Now I'm puzzled. US phones only install signed apps but Eu doesn't? That was not in the manual.

OK, extras-devel works for me too. But the same proble for extras-testing broke it for me. Maybe there's something more here, but I would wait that the Release file is fixed and then think about it more.

Actually it has sense to look into which repository, you may get it it from extras-testing. Run apt-cache showpkg and look into which repository provides a package.
