I've been trying to install skype but i can't find it on the repos nor ovi store. I even went to skype website and they have a version for sale which I can't download either!!! Where has skype gone?

Skype is integrated into N900. You just need to add your details under accounts and your skype contacts will get merged with your phonebook.

Ya I know. The information on Maemo Select about Skype is a bit misleading too.

The only Skype icon I saw is in the accounts panel.
