I have a simmilar problem. When I pair my PS3 Slim with my N900 via Bluemaemo everything works fine the first time. But every following attempt fails. Well actually it doesn't really fail. The pairing works and the blue dot in the ps3 device manager even lights up, but apart from that no command seems to be registered by my ps3.
The funny thing is that when I remove the n900 from the ps3s device manager and pair the two devices from scratch everything works flawlessly until I close bluemaemo.
At least you got yours working mine didn't even work at all... it is connected to ps3 but nothing works any suggestions Thanks
same thing here.. i have to delete the existing connection and then pair the phone with ps3 again to get it to work. This means that you have to use the controller before you can use the phone.. then mutch of the point is gone. Let's hope there will be a fix in the next upgrade. there is an alternative to register a bluetooth remote, but this option requires that you push and hold start+ps button at the same time. this cant be done with bluemaemo, atleast not at this moment..

Have you tried doing what I did? It's a little annoying that you have to do it every time. Remove the n900 from the ps3s device manager and you're good to go.
No,that's the correct way, and you don't get any 'disconnected' message in the N900 after a while ? (~10 seconds after pressing a button)
If not, the PS3 is receiving the keys.

Could this problem be related to the ps3 slim?

I have a similar problem, I can connect my N900 with the PS3 but then nothing, I have removed the connections and re-established them but still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas?
Could someone here that is a programmer try and help out on this request here , it's bluetooth related and the work you have done here is amazing, so I thought this was the best place to come. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...&highlight=mac

Unfortunatley not, but looking trough the posts I think I'm not the only one having this issue. Maybe if all of us (even the people that do not have this issue) were to post some information about our configuration, we might be able to find similarities between the people that have this issue and therefore get to the bottom of this. I'll start:
Playstation 3:
Firmware Version 3.15
It's the Slim Version of the PS3
Nokia N900
Firmware Version 2.2009.51-1
Bought in Vienna (Austria)
Installed Apps on my N900 (all updated to the latest version):
