Last week I bought an eCharger (it's a charger which works with one AA Cell and which produces 5,5 Volt output and has different cables for many mobile phones).
I bought it to charge my E60 or my 770 if I'm on the road.
I thought that I could use the eCharger with the mini usb Cable to power the usb host mode.
Has somebody done this and could give me some tips:
1. Is the 5.5 Volt ok or do I need exactly 5.0 V?
2. I've a Y-Cabel from a usb Harddisk (2xmini-usb, 1 x Type A), do I need a specific cable or is a standard cable ok?
After reading some other posts about the host mode I think I need to give more details for the usb cabel...
I would like to use the following setup:
Nokia 770 (mini-usb male) ------------------ (usb A female) Keyboard
(mini-usb female) eCharger ------------I
(the description male / female is a little bit tricky (if you look from cable or device, e.g. the keyboard has a fixed cable male like that I need a usb A female cable-plug).
Is it possible to use such an Y-Cable or do I need a to built my own cable ?
I hope I could explain my thought a little bit more in detail.
