I'm unsure as to what exactly I've done, or if i've done anything. But I'm unable to add new widgets to my desktop.

Just as a backstory, I re-flashed my N900 hoping it'd reset my mail settings to factory default, but that didn't seem to do anything so I just got on with using the phone. Shortly after I successfully installed OMWeather, and added it to my desktop,

Today I tried installing the 2G/3G switch but when I go to the "Add Widget" menu it's not available. I've tried restarting the device yet no dice.

It also happens with the Brightness Widget and Flashlight widget.

Does anybody have any clues on how I can solve/debug my issue?

I think the 2G/3G switch, as well as the Brightness and Flashlight are applets, not widgets. They can be found on the status menu.

Oh, and by the way, the Flashlight applet will only appear when you open the camera slider.
