Sorry for the ancient thread revival here, but just found this app and was anxious to install it. It was my favorite game on my US Robotics Pilot!

I'm getting an error when installing...

I don't want to uninstall sdictviewer. Is there a way I can work around this error? (running 5.2008.43-7 on N810)

Not always recommended but as you are overwriting a useless file (come on, /.deb), I think we can overlook it :P

    Hi!
is there a possibility to run dopewars on maemo5?
I tried to build a package with the soures from debian etch, but there were unmet build dependencies:
    Code:
     dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b -uc
    dpkg-buildpackage: source package is dopewars
    dpkg-buildpackage: source version is 1.5.12-2
dpkg-buildpackage: source changed by Francois Marier <francois@debian.org>
    dpkg-buildpackage: host architecture armel
dpkg-buildpackage: source version without epoch 1.5.12-2
: Using Scratchbox tools to satisfy builddeps
: Dependency provided by Scratchbox: autotools-dev
    dpkg-checkbuilddeps: Unmet build dependencies: libesd0-dev libaudiofile-dev
    dpkg-buildpackage: Build dependencies/conflicts unsatisfied; aborting.
dpkg-buildpackage: (Use -d flag to override.)
Then I compiled it with -d, which worked, but after installing it on my n900 successfully, nothing happend after typing dopewars in terminal.
    Has anyone a solution?

I have no n900 so I don't anticipate doing this anytime soon. It was a simple compile. I did nothing special to make it work. itt worked great.

You could install the SDK and give a go or start a thread with a 10$ paypal bounty, others may pitch it and help out?

Try #maemo on freenode IRC and see if anyone is willing to help you out...
