Hi, can someone tell me how to enter the "|" Pipe character while in xterm? Also, using TightVNC to VNC into the N900 (x11vnc), I cannot enter a pipe command.

simply hold the blue arrow on the left side of your keyboard and then hit ctrl (with the blue arrow it will choose "sym")
then the virtual symbol keyboard should appear on the screen

You don't need to hold the Fn key, just press it and then press Ctrl. Same goes for the Shift key as well... And Fn lock works also the same way as Caps lock...

Although adding tilda and pipe to the tab bar of xterm is far more practical.
