I just came across this post. It mentions an ad on the Nokia forum about porting your iPhone apps to WRT. The article links to an article on the Nokia community website. I haven't read it yet, but this would be something else.

Think it's talking about iPhone-optimized web apps; the likes of http://iphone.facebook.com, rather than anything you'd find in the app store.

Apps are build by developers not by nokia and apple. Developers cam choose to port apps.
