Isn't 6368 about contact _fetching_?
The OP asked about contact _sending_, which would be a different issue.
On the other hand, maybe that Volvo car system actually wants to go and fetch the contacts.
Nevertheless, being able to export the contacts via BT is an important feature - I'll go and hunt for it in the device.

If you want to export your contacts:
Phonebook menu -> export -> all ... exports all your contacts as .vcard-files.
Using Petrovich you are now able to send / export those files via bluetooth.
(This also seems to work as a workaround for the car kit problem, at least for some cars. Maybe Volvo, but not my BMW :-( )
Is there anyone who knows how to send/export all the contacts on N900 too another bluetooth device - e.g. the built in Car bluetooth system such as in the volvo xc60?
