Hi.

Is there anyone who knows how to send/export all the contacts on N900 too another bluetooth device - e.g. the built in Car bluetooth system such as in the volvo xc60?

You will need PBAB bluetooth profile for that, but the N900 currently does not have this feature.

You might want to vote, so maybe we get it in one of the next updates.

Isn't 6368 about contact _fetching_?
The OP asked about contact _sending_, which would be a different issue.
On the other hand, maybe that Volvo car system actually wants to go and fetch the contacts.

Nevertheless, being able to export the contacts via BT is an important feature - I'll go and hunt for it in the device.

SyncML works fine over BT.

Ah well sorry, I understood that the OP wants to access / fetch his contacts from his car system. And this is where the linked bug would apply.

If you want to export your contacts:
Phonebook menu -> export -> all ... exports all your contacts as .vcard-files.
Using Petrovich you are now able to send / export those files via bluetooth.
(This also seems to work as a workaround for the car kit problem, at least for some cars. Maybe Volvo, but not my BMW :-( )

Yep, found it last night.

For some reason I have been unable to send anything with Petrovich, although I haven't re-tested it after the 1.1 upgrade. I could easily send files from my N800 via BT (with the built-in filemanager), those same files could not be sent via Petrovich on the N900. I'll look again at that later.
