I just removed kmplayer and xsltproc (with 'apt-get remove --purge ..') and reinstalled kmplayer without any problems (xsltproc automatically gets installed with it).
So I have no idea why this happens to you. You may want to check whether any of the default categories are disabled in the application manager (but that is just a guess).

GOOD watching channesl: Discovery Channel, ALL are watchable, most episodes are 3 - 4 min, good for mind relaxing

- The Science of Sex appeal - We are scientist and are interestings in cetain kind of science, right. No. It is 100 % family channel

And if you are into movie trailers, there is Google moview-trailer, they have Ratatouille, The Oh in Ohio, Casino Royale, SSpielbergs' The monster house..... at least 50 plus

On some channels, unfortunately, the mplayer though gives a grandier view of using the full screen, it suffers from AV desync whereas the built-in media player does not.

Have no idea which program would run for how long, like the science of sex appeal, i.e., catch it before it disappear.

Sure, got to install KMplayer and WorldTV99 to watch, both are optified. Over 156 channels, albeit not all working at the same time, and each channel carries several programs and each program runs as much as 40 plus film segments.........I am sure you would NOT run out of entertainment for several months. And sure, some of the channels are refreshed as frequent as every hours, MSNBC or once a day, most CBC channels or, well, once a week like most PBS programs

Some tips:
double taps cycles window and full screen
tap on right upper corner triggers the blue TV MenuBar, arrows on either ends changes channel backward and forward, tapping on the green star button saves into your favorite list for rapid playing next time

The new version has do away with the Blue TV MenuBar, a single tap on window brings up the user menu and the flower icon at the right most is your favorite button.
When lost inside the tv menu, too many too many channel, go to the top drop down menu, and click new, that would start you fresh and, sometimes, collapse back to initial screen

Sure, some program segments you love so much, you do have option to download it to show to those ipunct fanboys

is it really supposed to scroll through a bunch of channels on its own until it finds one that will stream?!? e.g. i click on discovery and it jumps channel headers one by one down the list and then starts to stream some channel i did not want to see.

I too experience the same thing. I tried Discovery etc and it jumps down to another channel.

I've been playing with the list tonight and a whole bunch of stuff on the list is broken. Not sure what happened, but a whole bunch of links went south all of a sudden on the default XML file.

Is there a way to tell guys to "knock it off" in a nice way that automatically assume that we are all willing to open extras testing and extras devel to our devices to actually consult the real word before they start bragging about how awesome their app is?

I am stuck as to how to actually say "why do you think I will download 2 parts that pass extras testing and then download third part that hasn't"
without sounding like an unappreciative arse.

About to finishing up the WorldTV99 for N900:

Not much

, some new look, rearrangement of TV channels, and add some 12 channels. They are

- Comedy Central (Most requested, took me an hour to get it, and it works beautiful), all four of them

- National Institue of Health (Yes, I once worked there), some boring government station, I think they would be thrill to see the only channel in the whole world carry them

, they do have some interesting health topics now and then that the whole world follows their guidelines, like H1N1, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, smoking diseases etc., most of the time are boring conference and meetings.

- add a LiveTV from Italy, URL was from an email from "president" of the TV station, how do you like that? Italians, please tell me how good is that channel, thanks. I doubt it is Live, I think the name of the station is called 'Live', will see...

Some touch up, should be out early next work, My partner is still touching up on the KMPlayer.... :-)

Apology to N8x0s: Not that WorldTV99 is leaving the N8x0 camp, I have an N8x0 would like it to run too, however, some video codecs simply would NOT run on N8x0

or hardware-wise, the channels are unwatchable on the N8x0

American channels, I think I almost got almost all the major player. Anyhow, anyone want to sneak in a channel they love, for this edition, still have time, please either post it here, PM or email me. TIA,
