Can't you just go into email then "settings" then change "default account" to whichever one you want? Mine then always sends from this account. However I think you will probably have done that already. But otherwise I am not sure what the problem is

So, if you set Nokia Messaging as default or you only have setup Nokia Messaging, it always uses the first 2nd-level account, in alphabetical order, in Nokia Messaging as your primary email account and there is no option to change that.
which will make that email unsendable.
RIght now, it is pulling the first account listed under NMS, which is not what I want. I can't find a setting either on the phone or NMS website.
Also. This maybe a bug (can't find the exact problem there). What do you guys think? When replying in N900 default email and using NMS, sometime (i would say 50/50) the email will be replied via a DIFFERENT account that those it came in on. That is, the mail is send via account #2, but when i hit reply it showed (from as) account #1. This is a problem since account #1 doesn't allow SMTP connections from outside of its network.
I when this happen, i would need to re-set the from account, but sometime when i forget, and the mail bounced is a problem since i have to retype the emails.
thanks,
