Yesterday, I noticed that after doing the firmware update, the media player is showing wrong album art. All my mp3s have album art in the tag and in past most of time they show up fine but since yesterday, I'm seeing majority of them wrong.
Issue was there before the update. I think it has to do with poor handling of a large library as I've noticed it more and more as I add music. The media player doesn't read the tag info very well/quickly.
I'd check out bugs.maemo.org and fill out a report if there isn't one already there (don't forget to search closed bugs as well in case a fix has already been created).
I have a similar problem. For albums that have the same name e.g. Greatest Hits, only one album art displayed. For example I have Greatest Hits by roughly 6-7 artists and they all display the same album art even though the correct album art is embedded in the file. Very strange. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Come to think of it, most of my wrong album arts are on greatest hits albums. For example, I have multiple greatest hits albums from artists like RHCP, Take That, Richard Marx, Motley Crue etc....but all show cover from Take That.... wonder why is that the case. Maybe media player likes Take That
