Hi thanks for all the replies...
So what I can understand I can change the language of the OS to Danish even if I buy the N900 in the US and all the languages for the predictable texting is also installed on the device.
I found this picture of the Nordic keyboard on the N900 and I can see the loss of the dedicated arrow keys, and to me it seems like that will be a very big loss (maybe especially when you are gaming).
I have not yet decided where to get the device, because I think that will require a lot of think, weighing pros and cons.

Jes a thought - the difference in price - is it because the European versions are Made in Europe - while the US ones are Made in China - with Labour markets cheaper. However the general buzz is - Euro manufactured phones are sturdier

i'm danish and i have the n900 sold i denmark. sure it has dedicated æøå buttons, and secondary arrow buttons, but changing keyboard layout is simple to get dedicated arrow buttons, since you can switch to english keyboard layout anytime you want in settings.

Just don't try to use the shortcut that's described in the manual...!
Hopefully we'll have it implemented before Nokia leaves the N900 completely for dead..

you are wrong, i own the us version and is made in korea. where did you get that idea from?

I have the US version and it supports the Danish dictionary, also you can run dual dictionary's. I run UK/US.

The American version might be lacking channels 12-13, that's the only known difference. And even that is uncertain whether it's hardware related.
