I assume you're using the version in Extras-testing given other people have mentioned vaguely similar things (without any reproduction instructions). If that's true, you've implicitly accepted the covenant to test the app and provide feedback to ensure the software is ready for release.

I also assume you realise that not everyone will see the same issues as you so, in that light, you've raised a bug report?

This happened since the very first time I installed Catorise. I'm not sure if there was an update later though, sorry can't remember. I searched however before posting this thread and couldn't find any similar case, except when TNiga mentioned it.

I'm just writing it in the xterminal and after a few hashes I'm getting :

" Permission denied at /opt/catorise/catorise line 158"

You have to do it as root.
Install rootsh if you haven't, type "sudo gainroot" without the quotes, then the catorise command

These 2 apps should fall under Ovi

If not, then wait for Jaffa's reply, I think he's catorise's developer

If this is Catorise 0.7.3 (in Extras-testing), I've reworked the optimisations to reduce the amount of time added to package install/uninstall in such a way that the most likely cause of this bug (those optimisations) will no longer be present.

0.7.4 will include that fix after some internal testing.
