Does anyone know, or even had tried an usb TV card on the N900?
There are some working with Ubuntu, and the only thing you would need to plug is an adapter for microUSB to plug into N900 and SW install? (Me think so? )

You cannot, N900 does not support full USB host mode, not even USB OTG, read more at: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=31921

Writting software to support the above may be a simple solution.
