I actually had it happen to me twice. The most recent was after I updated to the new fw, right after I enabled portrait in the browser. I ended up having to reboot both times because it froze on me. (I too have launch by turning on in the phone app).

I've been having that sometimes, when i run browser in portrait and recieving a phone call, and the dial screen stays in that mode, and in that case somethings will work in that mode, or revert for me.
