I think I saw for the first time a small unlock slider appearing above the silence/sms button when I got a phone call yesterday... I have never seen it before and judging from the phone UI brainstorms there should be not such thing on phone UI..... was I dreaming? Has anyone actually seen it, too?

BTW, I had the USB cable plugged in when I saw this.

Any chance you had device security lock on and saw a button for unlocking the device? Thats the only thing I can think of...

When N900 is locked and you press the power button, an unlock slider appears.

Thanks for the comments but what I saw was not the typical landscape full-screen slider nor the numeric pad used for unlocking the device, but a much smaller slider resides between the caller photo and the buttons. Anyway, maybe I was just day-dreaming after reading the brainstorms on phone ui .....

One time i played with Mer & Easy Debian and tried to load xfce, i noticed a working screen saver on my N900. May be some loaded artefacts are staying in the display manager and appear later (by mistake)...
