Hi,

I share your pain. I'm am a new customer to T-Mobile and I have loads of issues and thought it was my original setup.

I asked for Web n' Walk to be added and msn/facebook chat didn't work despite my bill saying Wn'W plus for £5 for life of contract.

I tried a Virgin PAYG sim which is on T-Mobile network and that worked fine.

So I assumed an account setup. Trying to get through to the "script readers" at T-Mobile that my account was maybe screwed was a non starter. One of the problems is that the N900 is not listed so they automatically say not supported by T-Mobile.

What I did I have chosen the modem as handset option for a month at another £5. At the moment FB and MSN chat both work.

At the end of the month I'm hoping that all will be good when I go back to my original W'n'W plan.

I did manage to get Jabber + msn transport working on my Web n' Walk plan.

Hope this helps

Sounds to me that if you are having all these issues that maybe you should vote with your feet and move to another supplier? It is amazing how much more helpful the customer retention teams can be.

Im on the £10 top up with free internet and txts. What a great deal.

Msn is definitly blocked. But skype isnt oddly.

It was clear in the 10topup that Messenger clients would be blocked.

annoying yes, but totaly understandable (or would be if it wasnt for the fact texts are free)

Having the same issue here, sucks, trying the phone as a modem option out, not yet active though, will keep you updated.

Already requested my PAC code though as t mobile were no help and wouldn't put me through to tech support, reckon I'll probably switch to o2

I can confirm with darlomrh that if you activate mobile broadband plus, then you can use MSN, been speaking to a supervisor at t mobile about the issue, trying to get it resolved or at least get this option for free...

My hint: Move to O2 and get a simplicity contract with free unlimited web bolt-on.

I pay £20 a month, get 600 minutes, 1000 texts, and unlimited internet.

There appears to be no restriction on Facebook, MSN or Skype, and browsing the net (including pr0n I might add) seems to work a doddle. Not tried P2P, but everything else works (including Teamspeak and streaming internet radio!)
