I have the RSS reader set to auto-refresh. Also, I have the RSS reader applet on one of my desktops.
Now when I set the device to offline mode (which I do to save battery), after a while I'll get a message asking if I want to leave offline mode again (yes/no). This is only a cosmetical issue when the device is in offline mode overnight, but it starts to get annoying when I actually use the device (like, writing a note).
It took me a while to figure out where this message comes from, because it doesn't say "RSS Reader: Do you..." or so. But this is part of the problem now: I think I identified the RSS applet as the culprit, because when I set the RSS reader to not automatically update or removed the applet, the problem was gone.
Still, sometimes I don't get the message, even though the circumstances are the same. So I can't be 100% sure.
This is why I would ask those of you who use the RSS applet anyway:
Do you get this message after a while when you go to offline mode? (It should appear after the interval you set for updating; so when you say "update every 15mins" it should appear after 15mins)
If so, please vote for the bug to confirm it. (I really want to see it gone in PR1.2, but so far the bug report is just dead.)
If not, please - well, dont know - please help me think.
What else could it be? Or maybe, what other settings could influence the behavior of the RSS application?
