Hi

today i deleted stupidly all the folders on my N900... All the one i see when i connect the device...

how can i get them back?

all the ringtones, pictures etc are now gone

edit: or someone uploads the folders somewhere ^^

if you want your files back then you can connect you phone in mass storage mode to your pc and run a recovery program. don't know how much you can rescue.

the problem with the emmc flash is ... it does not work for me because my XP says that the driver was not found ... dont know why.. i dont need my fotos etc... just the folders with the standard pictures, ringtones, videos etc

kannste mir da helfen? Wenn diese 3 Punkte auf dem Display erscheinen, so wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, bleibt auf einmal das Bild eingefroren und Windows meldet dass ein Treiber nicht gefunden werden kann...

before reflashing you may want to try this:
http://www.pcinspector.de/

download the program, connect your phone in mass storage mode and let the program scan your phone.
maybe you are lucky and your folders and files will be (mostly) restored.

edit: after that you may want to check your phone with windows xp. just rightclick on the drive-letter in the workspace and open the properties. there should be an option to scan your drive's filesystem for failures.

just wanted to get rid off all the contacts sms, personal stuff which does not work with a normal flash... ... everything on it so i formatted it .. stupid i know, but it happened

ok... after formatting restoring is hard to do... but why didn't you make a backup?! ^^

mhm... which point in the reflash-wiki doesn't work for you exactly?

the dots are the last i see... then the dots freeze and nothing happened...

ok... the text which should come up on your computer doesn't appear, right?
but your computer says that there are drivers missing?
