    Hiding the Desktop Menu Tab/Cog

I am trying to hide the desktop editing menu tab that appears at the top of the screen when you touch any open area on your desktop. I found what I thought were the 3 images that make up the tab, and just changed them into transparent images.

    .../MYTHEME/images/wmEditIcon.png
    .../MYTHEME/images/wmButtonLeftHalf.png
    .../MYTHEME/images/wmButtonRightHalf.png

I thought it was just those three, but a small rectangle still shows right where the cog used to be. I've searched the images directory and can't seem to spot the image for editing. Anyone know?

    hello,

    If you also replace:

    wmRightButton
    wmLeftButtonEnd
    wmLeftButtonAttached

with transparent files, you'll get get what you want, plus this will also make the tile behind the clock, bat etc and the tile behind the app.icon invisible

one of these files is the one you're looking for.
