I get my phone tomorrow. Sometime tomorrow night I'll post up an image of T-Mobile's 3G in the Seattle area for a complete comparison.

Here in Kansas City I get speeds anywhere from 1.8Mbs to 0.65Mbs down and 0.70Mbs to 0.25Mbs up. But that's at my house and the signal here isn't the best. At work it's better and more consistent, around 1.8Mbs to 1.0Mbs.

Seems fairly quick and certainly much better than my old G1 did, but I'm ready for that 7.2Mbs service to kick in...

Here's my test results from AT&T and T-Mobile in the Seattle area:

As you can see, the ping time and upload speed for T-Mobile are better but the Download speed on AT&T wins. Both were on 3.5G HSPA networks.

Where in Los Angeles are you? When I'm in the downtown area, I only get about 700mbs.

7.2Mbit upgrade? I think they just rolled out the 11Mbit upgrade here.

For some reason www.speedtest.net goes to kansas city as the closest one.

    Ping: 351ms
    download: 0.35 mbps
    upload: 0.05 Mbps

    *sigh*, too slow i guess.
