the internet tablet version doesn't open up in my firefox browser. Will the macuco client be ported to the n900 anytime soon? I'm using a 2.5g connection.

I'm quite surprised so many people miss Java support as my last two devices were Windows Mobile based and while they had Java, hardly anything ever worked. The stuff that did actually run usually got stuck due to the lack of a keypad.

As a general rule, most Java apps seem to be written for dumb phones and fail big time when trying to use them on a touch screen device, with a high resolution screen, without physical buttons. The only thing I could ever get to work was Opera Mobile.

So I can understand why Nokia would think "why even bother" when it comes to Java, because it simply doesn't work right and mostly at all on touchscreen devices.
