You may try to recover your files with testdisk from the package recovery-tools.

Here is some info about the usage of testdisk: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...8&postcount=16

Feel free to ask, if more questions arise.

I recovered an accidentally deleted mp4 file (movie) using a USB connection to my Mac -> Parallels -> Windows XP and a free software called Recuva. Just took a few seconds to get the file off my N9.

    Hope that can help someone.

If they were on the memory card, download a free file recovery utility that recovers jpeg/jpg images. Put the disk in your computer direct the file recovery utility to recover files from whatever drive your disk is in and recover them to your hard drive. The files are not deleted, they are only flaged for overwrite if the space is needed.
