I have an extra one that is much longer, and I wanted to use it, but it wouldn't work. It was almost like the plug wasn't the precise length to fit into the jack.

I bought a spare N95 TV-out cable when I got my N82 which also came with a cable. I have used both with my N900. The included N900 one is still in the box.

I can confirm that the TV-out cable of N900 is exactly the same as the one that came with the N95... I cannot confirm that it actually works as I don't have a TV (who uses those things these days, anyways?), but from the looks of it I don't see why it wouldn't. Maybe your N95 cable is defective.

That's strange. everytime i plug in the N95 cable the n900 doesn't even recognise it. I'll try again though. And i am in the UK.

Well I tried the N95 cable again and it worked . Thanks a lot for the offer though.

is youre n900 set to "PAL" ? either that or there's a short on your old cable
