My FM Radio application won't show up, either on the home screen or in the menus.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Doesn't help.
I *can* see it as an option in the Select Applets... dialog on the home screen, but checking it there doesn't change anything, and when I go back to that dialog again, it's unchecked.
Any ideas? Also, where would I look for a log to diagnose this?
I couldn't find it under the menus either. You can start it from a terminal by typing fmradio.
When I select it under Select Applets, it appears on the home screen and stays there - you have to move it to an empty space, possibly by resizing other applets to make space.
Sorry, the errors don't mean much to me. I also get errors, though fewer.
The headphones must be plugged in to get reception. It seems it can either start by playing through the headphones or the speakers. When I start mine, even if it starts tuned to a station, it won't play until I tap the frequency away from and then back to that station.
But if you're not even seeing the radio application window then none of this will help.
I'm guessing they simply didn't include it in the menus.
Did you try positioning it on the home screen using "Select applets"? Then you can start and stop it from there, and get the fullscreen application by clicking on the middle button.
