Greetings:

Does anyone have any information if its possible to install the FirFox browser on a Nokia N800?

Hi - It's not possible to install Firefox on the N800 or any other resource limited device for that matter as Firefox is an application designed for computers with far more memory and CPU power than most handhelds have available to them.

For this reason, Minimo (a Mozilla based browser for devices with limited resources) is your best bet.

It runs on my Zaurus.

Thanks - in that case I stand corrected as I hadn't realised there was an ARM build available!

However unless someone builds Firefox for the N800 it's not currently possible, and even if they did memory could be tight... Minimo is still probably the best option given that it's designed for a low footprint.
