@Texrat, I'm using GPL for MaeSheep. The nice things about licenses is that the owner(s) can change it anytime they want/distribute it under different one

[edit] @Catacylsm, I think that we have in mind a more fluidish fluid game Will see what comes up.

I could see teddy bears working.. as long as when you compress them to release the stored-up deluge, it's in the form of a hug!

If the fluids are fluid enough to split, sometimes maybe some sort of "wand of cold"-action by tapping the touchscreen to freeze one puddle in place until tapped again, to be able to acceleromete another puddle meanwhile.

Wow! Some great ideas here. Love the 'wand of cold' for freezing the liquid. Love the different colours having different values (different viscosity? Blue like water, yellow like paint and red like custard/gravy?)

And natually, I adore the idea of hugging the bear to release the stored water.

I want to rescue trapped animals from containers, like a family of ducks, by raising the water line so they can easily walk out.. cos these are special ducks that cant fly or something. Or maybe I need to pump water using a water wheel to put out a fire before the building burns to the ground. Or perhaps a message in a bottle that's sitting at the bottom of a dried up well, releasing water into it would float the bottle up so you could read the message... "Your mermaid is in another underwater castle"... Or i could blow on the microphone to create waves that will power along a surfer dude who will buy smoothies from a impoverished local thus boosting the economy in this time of hard ship and recession... if i blow long enough i could make a typhoon .. or if i clicked a spot in the water and drew a spiral I could have a whirlpool that sucked enemies into it..

A bit cutesy. How about, rather than hugging it, you could stamp on the bear to squirt the stored water out of it with a huge Monty Python style foot!

The bear could make cute little noises and say stuff like "Oww! My innards!"

Or atleast let us stab the bear a few times with a knife to let the water flow out... Using the idea in your post about colours, the flowing water could be red almost as though the bear as filled with "custard/gravy"!

Im now seeing a GTA style Liquid Switch spin off.. your consignment of drugs is floating on a barge heading down river.. the mafia are waiting on the quay to make the deal, but a biker gang of Chinese triad gigolos are trying to intercept the barge with giant teddies and some gates that can only be opened with coloured custard...

One thing I think would be cool: break this down into maps and components, so that ultimately there could be a level designer that possibly even worked right on the device.

What if you make the teddy bear sit in The Comfy Chair and out of sheer terror, it just pees itself?

You lot just hate bears, don't you? Bah! What if I sulked and refused to play any more?

The bear gets HUGGED! right? Not squished. Not filled with drugs. Not stepped on. And not terrified. Poor bear!

It could ride a little yellow rubber ducky, though.
