This doesnt seem to work when you receive call. When you pull the headphones to answer the call, as soon as the call ends the music plays through the speakers, so actually it offers nothing.

    Anyone else had this problem?

I had similar or worse experience. I was on silent and in a meeting (no headphones at all). Received a call and denied it, and the music player auto activated even on silent. Good thing was that I usually keep it on low volume with headphones out.

What version are you on? I know the developer has been working on it, and shipped a new version this week. See the thread at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=33215.

That's because "silent" is a *phone* setting, and not an audio setting. But it does suggest a possible bit of logic that should be added to the headphoned code:

-> If *phone* is set to silent, don't reactivate if output is through speakers...

Does that logic seem like it would address the above problem?

PS Also, what version were you at?

    Yes, sounds okay.

It was the previous version, I'm not in such situation very often

Some sort of timeout will be a good addition. Media Player reactivating when you least expect it is not very pleasant experience.

It's easier to say that it's just ridiculous...
Sometimes media player starts playing my current soundtrack after a phone call ends even when I was not listening to any song when the call was received. It doesn't make any sense receiving a call while on train and after ending it, music starts to play with everyone staring at you. It's just FUUUUUUUUUU

    there is no homepage at:
    https://garage.maemo.org/projects/headphoned/

    One doubt,
can this app to switch audio output beetween speakers and mini-jack out?

I would like to switch the output to speakers without unplug the earphones from connector, is it possible?

It is possible (e.g. FM Radio does it), perhaps a switcher in the form of an applet or a widget? But that's not necessairly the scope of headphoned.
