Hi everyone.
I just found out, how to make skype on the n900. So i loged in, called a friend, and it was realy cool.

But: He imported all my skype contacts by himselft, so i got 100 new creapy contacts. The problem, i dont knew 90 of them. So i want them to go away .
So my quastion: Can i automaticaly remove , or disable the skype contacts? So that i dont want to see them, when i look normaly in my contacts.

thank you.

The Skype contacts imported are pulled straight from your Skype account. If you don't know these people, why are they listed in your Skype contact list? You can delete them on the N900, which will also delete them from your Skype contact list. There's no way of having Skype enabled without pulling in the Skype contacts though.

ok , that is em very bad ...
at first , when you are often online you add a lot if people , but those people i dont want an my phone.

second: the n900 knews that they are from skype; because there a two groups. The sim card contacts and the skype contacts. So when the phone knews that those 100 contacts are from skype , why cant i just delete them.

AND why when i delete them on my maemo , they will be deletited in skype ? thats a little bit senceless ...

The N900 is supposed to offer full built-in Skype functionality, exactly the same as you'd get from your desktop, hence uses the same list.

No, after importing, the N900 doesn't know any difference. Admittedly, it could probably filter out all users with Skype addresses, but that's certainly not currently implemented.

If you delete them in your desktop Skype application, they're deleted from the server. Why should the N900 behave any differently?

Video is not supported via Skype in the current version.
Video _is_ supported through google talk, but only if the connection comes from somewhere else (e.g. a PC), not if you connect from the N900 first.

Create a contact `Others` and merge all those IM contacts that you have (and don't want to perm-delete) but you don't really talk to them into that one contact. That's the cleanest solution I can think of...
