    Hi
I added an album (The Boomtown Rats - Loudmouth ) but can only see one song when I open the album.

All the others are ok. It seems to have dumped the other tracks into an unknown albums folder.

This hasn't happened on any of my other MP3 players. Any ideas why the have become disassociated from the album?

I have tried reinstalling the album and adding it to a microsd card but same thing has occurred!?

    thanks

Do all the tracks have the tags set correctly?

Welcome to the world of the N900 media player. There is not enough space on this website for me to list all the problems I have with the N900 as a media player that I have never ever had with any other mp3player

I presume this needs to be checked outside of N900!?

There's Mussorgsky on the N900 (looks like it's still in extras-devel though) which allows tag editing (i've not tried it myself), or use a PC based music tagger.

Mussorgsky works very well. That being said I am not advocating installing beta software etc etc etc

Tried installing Media Monkey to do this but it won't open correctly - does it not work with Win7? I tried the compatibility tool but to no avail.

I am using it with Windows 7 and works fine. But I upgraded from Windows Vista to 7. Not sure if it makes any difference from if your PC only ever had Windows 7 to start with. Note there was an itunes bug in Media Monkey that used to cause it to crash each time. Not sure if that could be your problem. You need to upgrade to latest version of Media Monkey to fix it.
