As the title says I'm having a few problems. I've tried uninstalling advanced power. I've removed the external card and rebooted but no luck. This seems to be sudden and not a result of a recent update, tbh I'm stumped.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Can you start an X Terminal? If so type top. What app is at 100%

Also try dmesg. See if there are any interesting errors.

    This is seriously weird!!!
I have exactly the same symptoms with my N810.
No internal or external memory card visible and advanced power hanging!?!?!?
I had thought of reflashing but I have no time during the next couple of days to play with my N810 at all so that wil have to wait a bit.

Hopefully this sorts out at least with a reflash.

These messages are normal. I don't have advanced power installed and don't see this problem.

Finally I had time for tinkering and decided to reflash my N810... but no, that did not sort this problem out.

    Any suggestions?

I don't mind losing the content of the internal or the external memory card.

Is there some easy way of formatting those mmc's even if they are not visible to the system?

I have been having the same problems for quite some time. I still can't uninstall advanced-power, not does it display any information anymore. Here is another thread with some information that could be useful.

This happened to me this morning. initally thought a restart, or a battery out would fix it, but no joy.

Thankfully found this thread. Managed to stop the APM deaemon from xterm, and uninstalled it, and it's been fine since.

I have reinstalled APM this evening, and it's working normally again.
